Nap & Quiet Time
Nap time is from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Younger children are encouraged to nap, while older children may engage in quiet activities. Comfort items from home are permitted.
Behavior Guidance
We use Montessori-based positive discipline: redirection, clear explanations, and modeling appropriate behavior.
Time-out is used sparingly (one minute per year of age).
Corporal punishment is prohibited.
Mandated Reporter Policy
As required by New York State law, the provider is a mandated reporter. Any suspicion of child abuse or neglect must be reported to the appropriate authorities.
Non-Discrimination Policy
We welcome all families regardless of race, religion, gender, culture, or ability. Everyone is treated with
respect dignity and love.
Visitors Policy
Parents have the right to visit at any time. All other visitors must sign in and show ID. No smoking, alcohol, or drugs are permitted on the premises.
Sick Policy
Children must stay home if they exhibit: fever of 100.4°F or higher, vomiting, diarrhea, unexplained rash, severe cough, or contagious illness. Children may return after being symptom-free for 24 hours without medication or with a doctor’s note. If a child becomes ill during daycare hours, parents will be called for immediate pick-up.

We value open communication. If you have any concerns, please speak with the provider directly. If an issue cannot be resolved, families may contact the New York State Child Care Complaint Line.
